What is the structure of investing in an apartment deal with your firm? In short, we create an LLC that will purchase the property and you are a member of the LLC. However unlike owning stock in a corporation, these LLCs are seen by the IRS and federal government as a “pass through” or “disregarded” entity. They ignore the company, and all the benefits of ownership pass through to you, the investor.
